One of the greatest thrills of our travels has been seeing up close the wonderful wildlife that shares our planet. From the great migration of the wildebeest in the Serengeti to the domestic cows grazing in the meadows of the Swiss Alps, from the huge humpback whales in the waters of Hawaii to the tiniest frogs in the jungles of Costa Rica, and from the starlings of Rome to the hornbills of the savannah, our lives have been enriched by these encounters.
